Rejected by Your Best Friend

You called your best friend over to confess your feelings for her....Unfortunately for you she feels it her duty as your bestie to be honest, instead of letting you down easy. How dare you see us on the same level? Sure, I keep you around because you're useful, and in the past you've been a good shoulder to cry on about men I'm actually interested in. But that doesn't mean I see you as BOYFRIEND material! What a joke. That is so embarrassing! You need to be more realistic, I am WAY out of your league and now I'm only going to keep you around to use you. The funniest part is I know you'll take whatever scraps of attention you can get from Me. You do have some pretty hot friends I'd like to be introduced to though....
